I finally got a chance to sit down and watch these. You know, I always had these two episodes near or at the top of my favorites list, but I'd forgotten just how good they really are.

TEC/TDD is without question my favorite piece of Doctor Who. Everything is superb: the funny banter, the scariness, the effective plot, the message, the acting and character development, the sense of time and place, and let's not forget the sexiness. I think the only thing here I don't like is Rose's hair. Steven Moffat rocks my world!

Up front, this two-parter is quite simply my favorite piece of NuWho to date.   I can, of course, elaborate . . .

One good thing about a nasty head cold--I can stay home from work and get some serious DW-watchin' done. These two episodes may just be my favorites of the whole series.
